GO AWAY!!
We've had so many SunRun people knock on our door that we have literally lost count. It's obnoxious and irritating. Some are polite, some are down right rude and the most recent guy said "well since I can't talk to you face to face, I'll be back later" despite me say through our Ring that we're not interested. And don't bother calling corporate to be put on a do not knock list. They're even more rude than the people knocking on your door!!!!

They Do Not Follow Through on promotions they promise
We went live in October of 2023, we were told by the sales rep, who is conveniently no longer with the company, that Sunrun would pay for our first three months of electric bills once we went live while the system began generating power. They assured us that we would only be responsible for our payment to Sunrun during those three months and they would be paying for our electric use. Big Fat Lie! I contacted them, it was brough to their escalation team (good luck getting someone who can speak English) where I was told they are not responsible, and they do not pay for electric bills. I sent them written proof from my sales rep, and still no resolution. Good luck trying to get someone to help you if you have an issue. I would caution that if you are promised any kind of a promotion get it in writing, have it notarized and get it on recording because they will screw you over. I would NEVER ever recommend anyone do business with Sunrun, they have their sales reps make it sound great and then once you sign the papers and get the job done, they don't follow through on their promises. We not only had the payments due to Sunrun but had to pay our normally high electric bills, and so far, the system isn't generating what they have said it would so I can't wait to see what happens at the end of the one-year mark when they are supposed to reimburse us when the system doesn't generate what they said it would. Terrible Customer Service, Stay far away!!!!

Horrible customer service
Sunrun does not care about you once the panels are on your roof. The case manager system is broken and they do not return phone calls. The wait times to have your panels removed and then installed is absurd. Also you have to pay a large amount of money for this process voiding all the savings you made from the panels. Stay away from sunrun and their poor customer service.

Takes Advantage of Old folks
In 2017 this company talked my parents in to putting solar on their old house, that has NO central heat and air! (gas wall heat and a swamp cooler) They got them a loan that they have to pay interest only for 10 years a 400 per month, which is more than smud ever was. After the 10 years of 400 interest only, they get to start paying on the 50,000 loan! There is way more panels than should even be on a house this size. What a SCAM for old folks that don't even know what they are getting in to!

Tyler and His Crew
Tyler and his crew Modrespect did a wonder job installing my solar panels. They were very outgoing and informative. They answered any and all questions I had regarding the installation process. They were very fast and efficient. They showed up on time and went straight to work.. they were in and out before lunch time which I appreciated. Thank you Tyler for making this process easy for me!

We have had nothing but a great experience so far with Sunrun. The crew that installed our system did an excellent job, did not cause a disruption of any kind and showed up on time.

Amazing
I want to thank SunRun for sending out an outstanding crew to install my solar panels. A special shout out to the Team Leader (Aiden) for his expertise, knowledge and professionalism. And to the crew (Vlad, JP, and John) for their efficiency, knowledge and performance, they did an outstanding job. I was informed it would take 4-8 hours for completion, but it was completed in 4 hours. I am truly impressed with the install and also want to send out high kudos to the Master Electrician (Matt) for his quality of work and the heads-up on the existing system that would have been a major critical problem I would have experienced if my panel had not been updated. So thanks to you SunRun and your team for making this experience possible without any issues.

Ms, Favielle Escoffery is the most outstanding representative I have ever met, she’s so knowledgeable about her job and for that reason I was very comfortable with the whole process. To be honest if it wasn’t for her making it so easy I would have changed my mind because I was always skeptical about getting solar system. I give Ms Favielle a 10 out 10 rating.

Installed Battery is NOT under Your Control
If you select to install battery with the system, be aware that the battery will not kick in when your house have outages because the battery is under PG&E control and it only feeds the grid for PG&E benefits. This has been a battle for me with Sunrun for many months now.
