Wow!
The acquisition of a solar power system through Green Power Energy was seamless. The initial contact with Mr. Gill the sales representative was most informative. He provided information about the nature of solar power and its relation to Georgetown Texas Utilities. He explained the tax incentives at the end of the year when I file my income taxes. After reviewing my electric bill, a recommendation for a system was provided. I then reviewed the "reviews". I had contacted two other companies and received their presentations. One was three times the cost of the Green Power system. The other company had terrible reviews. So I went with Green Power The materials were delivered at the agreed upon time and date and an hour later the installation crew arrived. They were knowledgeable and skilled with the installation process. Four hours later they had completed the project. The installation had two parts. The electrical and the solar panels handled by different people. The electrical installer and solar panel installers were highly competent and good natured. They explained in a highly professional manner what they were doing. I was very impressed with how competently they presented themselves and carried out their work. An hour after they were finished Pierson McKee arrived to provide follow up information and to be the point of contact with GPE in the future. Again, very competent and professional. A follow up meeting will get schedule in several weeks to explain the monitoring of the system and its application programs. I could not be more pleased with any part of this process and now look forward to lower electrical costs. Michael in Austin

Communicated the process of going solar completely and did everything exactly like they stated. No surprises and the system is working just like they said it would. Very happy with the entire company from the salesman to the installers. Also had one of the better prices.

Excellent customer service!
Starting with the sales presentation, our interactions with GPE were relaxed and hype-free. No pressure sales tactics, just factual information about a product we were already interested in. While GPE's quote wasn't the lowest price we were quoted (we got quotes from multiple companies), they came in below the median price quote, and we chose GPE because we felt confident that their customer service would be better than other companies because they have dedicated teams of installers (actual employees, rather than contractors and sub-contractors) working in each of the states they operate in. This was well worth the only slightly higher cost over their cheapest competitor. When it was time for our installation, we got confirmation that we made the right choice by choosing GPE. Their excellent customer service resulted in an exceptionally smooth installation process! One thing that impressed us most was that a GPE electrician whose job is to make sure installations are ready for inspection came by a day before the scheduled town inspection and identified a few things he wanted to change to assure passing the inspection. Then he then showed up early on the day of the inspection to make those changes (including changing the ground wire on our electrical panel from aluminum to copper, so it was the same material as the ground wire for the solar system), and also had materials with him to make any other quick changes the inspector wanted while the inspector was still here. We were very happy to have the system pass inspection on the first try, without having to schedule a second inspection appointment. We definitely appreciated how thorough GPE's process was. GPE customer service also provided us with a post-installation consultation to make sure we understood how the system monitoring app works and answered questions we had about understanding how the credits showing up on our electric bill work. Overall, we are very happy we went with GPE for our solar system, and we highly recommend them as a reliable solar company with exceptional customer service!

Green Power Energy Excellent overall experience
We have had on overall excellent experience with Green Power Energy. During my evaluation of Solar installation options the Green Power Energy solution differentiated themselves is a few key areas. Each solar panel has its own inverter, this configuration eliminates a single point of failure and also eliminated the need to mount a large inverter in my garage which saved having to dedicate wall space. The panels themselves are of high quality and the solar metric application is very informative. The solar system installation team impressed me as being quite knowledgeable and their work was very well executed. I was also kept informed of the status through all the phases of the service deployment.

Darryl Made it a Pleasure
We had solar panels installed this year and from the moment the work began Darryl was there to deal immediately with any and all situations. From weather conditions to communicating with Eversource, Darryl always made himself available and followed up to make sure everything went to plan. Of course everyone we dealt with at Green Power was knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. We are so happy we went ahead with this.

Best Solar Company EVAR
I highly recommend Green Power for solar installation. My experience with them has been wonderful. It all started with the sales rep who was knowledgeable and patient to custom build my panel layout. Then came the onboarding process which was easy and no-hassle. The installation took a few hours and they did a fabulous job — even cleaned up after themselves. The system has been ON for a few months and I see benefits with solar. Highly recommend Green Power

Great Install in Somerset County
Green Power installed my panels at the end of 2023 and so far the experience has been great. They were very easy to reach, worked with my schedule for every step, did a very clean install, and there was detailed communication from their team through every step. I highly recommend them for solar needs!
